This program uses an innovative methodology that is personalized to the needs of every learner to fill identified knowledge gaps. Learners can test their skills in patient case scenarios, and claim 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ (Physicians) and 1 CNE Contact Hour (Nurses).


Alice Y.Y. Cheng MD, FRCPC, Scientific Editor of the program, has created an educational pathway to provide primary care physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, endocrinologists and nephrologists with evidence-based learning on CKD in T2DM.


Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Cite screening methods to diagnose CKD and determine its severity
  • Identify recent and future treatment options to manage kidney risk in people with T2DM

Who is this course for?  The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of primary care physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, endocrinologists and nephrologists involved in the treatment of patients with CKD in Type 2 Diabetes.
